Equitas Health is pleased to announce that a collective bargaining agreement has been reached with Equitas Health Workers United Local #6609. Members of the bargaining unit, represented by Breann Smith, Kellie DeChant, Jeff Dubin, Nick Milburn, and Marcel A. Hughes, voted this week and the result was resounding support for ratification of the agreement.
“This milestone reflects the commitment and collaboration between our organization and the represented employees,” said Jonathan Walker, a member of the Leadership Council and Equitas Health bargaining representative. “Through constructive dialogue and negotiation, we have reached an agreement that acknowledges the interests and concerns of both parties while fostering a positive and productive work environment.”
While the terms of the agreement have been accepted, the contract itself is being finalized. Soon, the organization will begin training for supervisors and managers on their obligations with respect to the collective bargaining agreement.
Equitas Health believes that this agreement sets a solid foundation for our ongoing partnership and lays the groundwork for continued success and mutual benefit. We look forward to putting the terms of the agreement in place.
