Health Literacy Partners

Have you ever wondered, “who designs these forms?” or thought, “I could have explained this much more easily.” If so, you would make a great Health Literacy Partner!

As a Health Literacy Partner, you get to

• Try out new forms and read brochures, flyers, and other print & online materials. Partners tell us if the materials are easy to understand and use.
• Help us brainstorm what we can do to make the materials better.
• Review 2 to 3 items each month.

Client Advisory Council (CAC)

Give feedback, react to ideas from staff, and make suggestions on how to improve Equitas Health.

The CAC may discuss topics such as

• Transgender health services
• Case management services
• support groups
• youth services
• women’s services
• Pride Month activities
• HIV/STI testing and outreach

We are looking for people of all ages, income levels, gender identities, races/ethnicities, sexual orientations, and HIV statuses to join the CAC. The CAC meets 4 times a year.
