Equitas Health Honors World AIDS Day 35!

The World Health Organization introduced the first World AIDS Day in 1988 to raise global awareness and honor those who died from AIDS-related illnesses. This year’s theme, World AIDS Day 35: Remember and Commit, reminds us that the fight to end HIV/AIDS and HIV-related stigma is not over.

We have seen great progress since that first World AIDS Day, and Equitas Health is proud to be a part of that progress. Our organization remains committed to ending HIV through education, prevention, testing, and treatment.

Join us around the state for World AIDS Day 35! Mark your calendars and plan to attend events like the Shades of Red fashion show in downtown Columbus, Dayton’s annual World AIDS Day event, or poetry night at The Landing in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Remember and commit through poetry, fashion, film, candlelight vigils, and the reading of the names of people we have lost. Find an event in your area.
