A Notice for Patients & Clients Regarding Support Groups & Events:

Our first concern is to keep those most at risk of coronavirus complications safe from infections. All Equitas Health support groups and events scheduled through the end of March, 2020 have either been cancelled or moved to a virtual platform. Please see below or visit our Facebook events page for updates about specific groups.

Ongoing Support Groups

In Transition | Virtual

In light of the current COVID-19 situation, we will be meeting every Tuesday from 4 to 5 pm using a video/audio platform until further notice.

A Trans/GNC Peer Support Group for folks in gender affirming medical and/or social transition or thinking about transition.

Tuesdays Without Tina

Tuesdays | 8 – 9 PM | in-person AND virtual meetings

A discussion group for people who have sex with gay men and use meth. We offer fellowship in your journey towards recovery. This is a queer safe space.

Translation is a welcoming group geared towards transgender women of color in the Akron area. All non-binary, gender fluid, and transgender individuals are welcome to participate.

Women’s HIV/AIDS Support | Columbus

This is a specialized support group that explores the unique issues of women living with HIV/AIDS. This weekly support group provides psychoeducation and frank discussions on a variety of topics such as relationships, coping, and caregiving in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. Interpretation services are available upon request.
