The ACLU recently filed a lawsuit against the State Ohio on behalf of Equitas Health in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas. The suit seeks to overturn Ohio’s Healthcare Denial Law that Governor DeWine signed into law last year. This law is unsafe and unjust. It gives medical providers, hospitals, and health insurance companies legal protection if they choose to deny care or coverage for gender-affirming care, HIV treatment and prevention, and other life-saving care under the pretense of religious freedom.
They are not fooling anyone.
