Sam G. Brinker, Esq.

Sam G. Brinker, Esq. (He/Him) serves as general counsel and oversees the organization’s Legal Department. Sam previously served as an attorney at Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP, where he enjoyed a national corporate law practice, specializing in real estate and advising clients on a number of complex legal issues. In addition, Sam is a very proud openly trans man who has worked in LGBTQ+ advocacy in a variety of ways throughout his professional career, including volunteering in various capacities at Equitas Health, the Human Rights Campaign, the Point Foundation, Rainbow Elder Care of Greater Dayton, and Living With Change. He is the recipient of several distinctions, including the LGBT Bar’s 40 Best LGBT Attorneys Under Forty (2020), the Dinsmore Difference Maker Award (2020), and Best Lawyers’ Ones to Watch in corporate law for the last two years.
