Life+ Is Back for 2025!

Healing education retreats designed exclusively for Ohio residents living with HIV. Equitas Health Institute hosts six Life+ weekend retreats each year. Held at scenic Great Ohio Lodges within two hours of Columbus, Life+ weekends offer a unique opportunity for rest, connection, and support.

Healing weekends for people living with HIV began in the 1980s as grassroots, community-led gatherings that provided a safe, nurturing space for emotional support and holistic care. Today, these retreats continue that tradition, helping participants build resilience, practice self-care, and reduce stigma. Life+ participants can explore Equitas Health resources, receive vital health education, find positive ways to live with HIV, and build a strong network of support.

This is your weekend to connect, explore, and heal at your own pace. Whether you’re seeking new friendships, personal growth, or simply some relaxation, these retreats provide a welcoming, supportive space to recharge and discover a sense of belonging.

Remember, space is limited! Up to half of the spots will be saved for people who have never joined an Equitas Health retreat or only attended one retreat in 2024. Any remaining spots will be open to our returning attendees.
