Equitas Health bid a bittersweet farewell to Manager of Government Grants, Sue Green after nearly a decade of service. Throughout her career, she has made it her mission to get the support organizations need to make good and lasting change in the world.
So much of what Equitas Health does would not happen without Green’s leadership. During her tenure, she helped us get nearly $100 million in grant support for key programs and services.
Green’s efforts helped to make Equitas Health the agency it is today. Her work and skill continued our legacy of advocacy and activism. In addition, she shared her expertise generously with her team. She recently completed her sixth yearly training class on seeking and implementing grants and was a mentor to many.
Equitas Health is grateful for Sue, a titan of grant development and a champion of nonprofit accountability. Our mission and pledge to those we serve continues because of Sue. We wish her all the best as she moves into the next exciting chapter of her career.

Equitas Health, Ohio’s largest LGBTQ+ and HIV-serving healthcare organization, has announced new officers on the Board of Trustees. Susan McManus (she/her), vice president of business solutions marketing at Nationwide, will serve as Board chair for a one-year term through July 2025.

Equitas Health is pleased to announce that a collective bargaining agreement has been reached with Equitas Health Workers United Local #6609. Members of the bargaining unit voted this week, and the result was resounding support for ratification of the agreement.
