On March 25th, several community partners joined Equitas Health, including the Transgender Advocacy Council, at the Cincinnati Public Library to celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV). TDOV celebrates the lives and the contributions that transgender people make to society.
The Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library welcomed the community with open arms. We are truly grateful to them for providing a space to show what it looks like to be happy, healthy, transgender people! The celebration included food, access to community resources, and some very special performances.
This was definitely a team effort. Thanks to the collaboration of Equitas Health’s Prevention, Gender-Affirming Care, External Affairs and Financial Counseling departments, we had the honor of supporting a platform to uplift trans visibility and the trans community in Cincinnati. This event helped us reinforce our commitment to provide whole person healthcare for people of every gender identity in the greater Cincinnati area.
