Equitas Health Announces 2025–26 Board Officers and Welcomes New Trustees
Equitas Health is proud to announce the newly elected officers of its Board of Trustees for the 2025–2026 fiscal year:
- Susan McManus (she/her), Chair
- Philip Stowers (he/him), Vice Chair
- Kent Holloway (he/him), Treasurer
- Rebecca Karason (she/her), Secretary
These dedicated leaders bring a wealth of experience and commitment to advancing Equitas Health’s mission of providing affirming, high-quality healthcare to LGBTQ+ individuals, people living with HIV, and others that traditional systems underserve.
In addition to the new officers, Equitas Health is pleased to welcome three new Trustees:
- Shaun Young (he/him) joined the Board in February. A healthcare executive and entrepreneur, Shaun has over 20 years of experience driving innovation and equity across pharmacy, payer, and provider sectors. As SVP of Operations at Nurx, he scaled nationwide programs improving access to contraception, PrEP, and STI testing. His previous roles include leadership at Walmart and Cardinal Health, and he holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
- Taren Lutchey (she/her) joined in June. She is a longtime advocate and community organizer with over two decades of experience supporting LGBTQ+ communities. Taren currently serves as Executive Director of the Toledo Queer Black Collective and is a member of the Toledo Pride Committee, where she champions equity, visibility, and inclusive spaces.
- David Boyles (he/him) also joined in June. David is a Senior Counsel at GE Aerospace, advising on business aviation and regional engine portfolios. A licensed attorney in Ohio, he brings expertise in contracts, regulatory compliance, and litigation. David also serves in the U.S. Army Reserve, leading a civil affairs unit focused on global missions. He resides in Cincinnati with his husband and daughter.
