Dr. Todd Kepler Joins Equitas Health Leadership as Southwest Medical Director

Todd Kepler headshotEquitas Health is thrilled to welcome Dr. H. Todd Kepler, DO, MBA who has already become a key member of our Clinical Executive Team. Serving as our Southwest Medical Director, Dr. Kepler provides medical oversight and expertise to ensure the delivery of affordable quality primary and HIV healthcare services at our Dayton Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Kepler will play an integral role in the anticipated opening of our Cincinnati Medical Center and Pharmacy, slated for late 2019.

Dr. Todd Kepler has been a valued member of the physician community, in private and employed practices, since 1989 and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Wright State University.

As interim President and Chief Medical Officer of Premier Health Group (2018 – 2019), Dr. Kepler was responsible for increasing the value of care delivered to patients. He spearheaded initiatives related to provider engagement, care gap analysis, post-acute strategy, and seamless continuity of care. Prior to that post, Dr. Kepler served as the Medical Director of Premier Health ACO, where he partnered with other executive leads to improve care, quality, and patient satisfaction by reducing the overall cost of care, developing care paths, and increasing provider engagement.

In addition to his role as Equitas Heath’s Southwest Medical Director, Dr. Kepler will see patients two days a week at our Dayton Medical Center. Within this role he will provide culturally competent health care to all patients and collaborate on a multidisciplinary team to develop coordinated treatment plans for patients.

A member of the Miami Valley’s medical community for over 30 years, Dr. Todd Kepler brings a great mix of physician practice and industry knowledge to Equitas Health. Dr. Kepler believes that the health community has an obligation to build patient trust by offering the highest quality of care possible within an ethical financial framework.
